AAA: Florida gas supply stabilized; prices holding steady after Hurricane Milton

Florida gasoline supplies have stabilized, leading to the average price of regular to hit $3.09 per gallon on Sunday, according to AAA-The Auto Club Group’s weekly briefing.

But that price still is one cent less than a week ago, five cents less than last month and 16 cents less than this time last year.

“Conditions are much improved compared to this time last week, when retailers struggled to keep their gas pumps stocked, due to spike in demand from Hurricane Milton,” spokesperson Mark Jenkins said.

“Just one week later, gasoline supplies are much more stable around the state and Floridians do not have to look far to find fuel,” he added.

Crude oil and gasoline futures prices dropped late last week with the U.S. price for a barrel of crude oil settling at $69.22 on Friday, which was down by $6, or 8%, from the week before. It also was the lowest daily price since late September.
