Sometimes, when I write articles about adoptable dogs, readers make comments about “designer dogs.” For readers who do not know, “designer dogs” are dogs that theoretically combine the best of both worlds because they are a mix of purebred dogs. One example of this type of dog is a labradoodle. And there is one in Florida who is looking for a loving home.
Meet Aries: Arie’s Petfinder page does not indicate how he got his name. Since he is around four months old, he would have been born in August, which would technically make him either a Leo or Virgo. Ares is the God of War, but that isn’t really a great match for this little puppy who is extremely loving. Perhaps someone just thought he looked like an Aries.
Aries is a huge ball of energy who is always ready to run and play. Therefore, his foster organization, Milo’s Dog Rescue, feels that he would thrive in a home with a fenced yard.
Aries loves to play with the other dogs in his foster home, so while it is not required that he have a playmate, he would probably love one. Aries is quite athletic, so having another dog to play with would help him exert some of his energy. In addition to being great with other dogs, he is good with kids, so he’s not restricted to a child-free home.
