If you live in Florida, you know that the state’s population is rapidly growing. And with the growth, the state arguably needs additional services for that new population, with healthcare being one of them. In 2024, several new hospitals in Florida were announced. I’ve written about Riverview’s New AdventHealth Hospital, Sunrise’s Baptist Health South Florida, and Lake Nona’s new AdventHealth, as just a couple of examples. And now it has been announced that Florida will be getting a new Cleveland Clinic as well as expanded outpatient services.
About The Cleveland Clinic In Florida: This is a non-profit academic medical center that has the mission of “caring for life, researching for health, and educating those who serve.”
There are currently 48 facilities that are affiliated with the Cleveland Clinic in Florida. Five are hospitals and the provider has many outpatient facilities.
A New Florida Cleveland Clinic Hospital And Expanded Outpatient Services: In December of 2024, the Cleveland Clinic announced that it intended to build a 150-bed hospital in the West Palm Beach area.
