Update: This story has been updated to reflect a move in the launch day.
The second Florida launch of 2025 is set to light up the sky on Monday.
While SpaceX has yet to confirm , the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) lists the Starlink 6-71 mission as occurring during a window which runs from 11:44 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. ET Monday afternoon. The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will lift off from Kennedy Space Center’s Pad 39A.
The mission is the next batch of SpaceX’s Starlink internet satellites. With the payload being in the Group 6 of the satellite constellation, the rocket will travel on a southeast trajectory. This means those south of Cape Canaveral could get a good view.
Central Florida sonic booms are not expected, as the rocket’s first stage booster will land on a drone ship waiting in the Atlantic Ocean.
