MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon-Bibb County is asking families and loved ones to file claims by November 23 for the cremated remains of 232 people in its care.
The county released a list of the remains Wednesday, including names and approximate dates of death, cremation or when the remains were received. The full list appears below.
According to the release, any remains not claimed by the deadline will be scattered in a dedicated memorial garden at Historic Rose Hill Cemetery in a memorial ceremony like this one in 2024. A date and time for that ceremony have not been set…
