First Alert Forecast: Scattered Showers Develop Saturday Afternoon, Becoming Widespread on Sunday

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – We are in for a mild but rainy weekend, with stronger storms possible at the beginning of next week. Saturday begins mostly cloudy and very mild with temperatures in the upper 50s. It looks dry through the early afternoon. By 3 or 4pm, spotty showers develop and continue into Saturday evening. It will not be a washout, but there is a 40-50% chance of rain. Highs top out in the mid 60s, and stay near 60 through the evening hours.
