MACON, Ga. (WGXA) — Monday, severe storms are possible as a low pressure cuts to our north and west. This pulls up warm, moist air off the Gulf of Mexico and extra storm energy for cells to be strong producing damaging winds or a brief tornado. Tornadoes will be possible ahead of the main cold front starting as early 6 a.m. Monday. Damaging winds will become more likely once the cold front pushes through around mid day.
