On Tuesday, Georgia governor Brian Kemp signed into action an executive order that prevents the NCAA, any conferences or other organizations from taking “adverse action” against state of Georgia institutions for NIL or direct compensation. This is a temporary order, in effect until the House v. NCAA settlement and other accompanying lawmaking finalizes.
