Helene made landfall at 11:10 pm Eastern time near Perry Florida as a Category 4 hurricane. Helene is moving north at 24 mph towards the Big Bend region of Florida. The storm’s pressure made it to 938 mb with maximum sustained winds of 140 mph. Gusts up to 160 mph. Due to its speed, Helene could stay a major hurricane into Georgia.
