TEXAS – The Texas Gulf Coast American Red Cross is looking for volunteers to assist with emergency shelters for major disaster relief efforts in North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida.
People interested can sign up at redcross.org/volunteer .
Volunteers must complete required training and commit to a two-week deployment. While prior disaster experience isn’t necessary, individuals with skills in supervision, management, or organization are encouraged to apply.
In addition to volunteers, financial donations are the quickest way to provide assistance to those in need. Anyone can donate at redcross.org/Texas .
