SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – Approved homeowners and renters in Georgia now have until Jan. 7, 2025 to apply for FEMA assistance due to Hurricane Helene or Tropical Storm Debby. FEMA financial assistance for damage, displacement, repairs and losses due to Tropical Storm Debby is available for homeowners and renters in Bryan, Bulloch, Chatham, Effingham, Evans, Liberty, Long and Screven counties.
