I love making homemade chinese food at home as it is so simple to make and you can make it at a fraction of the cost of the local restaurant’s. This recipe takes about 20 minutes to make and it is so simple. You will need the following ingredients:
Recipe:
1 pound of chicken tenderloins or chicken breasts
1/2 of an onion, diced finely
1 can of waterchestnuts
4 green onions
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
4 tablespoons of soy sauce (I use lite)
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of rice wine vinegar
4 -5 cups of cooked jasmine rice
1 package of leaf lettuce
Preheat a large skillet to medium high heat.
Dice the chicken into small pieces, I remove the white ends that are on each of the tenderloins. Tip: You can use your favorite cut of chicken but I find that the tenderloins are so much tender than the other cuts for this recipe.
Add the oil and the diced chicken and cook it until the chicken is cooked through.
