Leilani Simon booked into Georgia women’s prison

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Leilani Simon, convicted last month of murdering her toddler son Quinton , has been booked into Georgia’s largest state women’s prison.

According to the Georgia Department of Corrections website , Simon is incarcerated at Lee Arrendale State Prison.

A new mugshot of Simon was posted on the site.

The prison is located in North Georgia in proximity to Gainesville.

Earlier this week, Simon’s attorneys filed a motion for a new trial after she received a life sentence with the possibility of parole, plus 10 years.

Prosecutors said Simon killed Quinton and threw his body in a dumpster in October 2022.
