Georgia seniors will no longer pay more than $2,000 for prescriptions

ATLANTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Thanks to U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff, Georgia seniors will no longer have to pay more than $2,000 per year for prescription drugs. Starting today, thanks to legislation Ossoff helped pass into law in 2022, out-of-pocket prescription drug costs for seniors with Medicare Part D are now capped at $2,000 per year.
