WAIPIO, Hawaii (Island News) — An elderly woman was hospitalized for her injuries following a multi-car crash on the freeway near Waipio on Friday afternoon.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to the traffic incident on the freeway southbound in the area of Ka Uka Boulevard at about 3:45 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30. EMS treated a woman in her 80s before she was taken to the hospital in serious condition. The kind of injuries she suffered was not reported.
Three other people, a 45-year-old woman, 35-year-old woman and 33-year-old man, were also evaluated following the accident, but they all declined to be taken to the hospital…
