HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Consular Corps of Hawaii celebrates its 200th anniversary this year with a gala on Feb. 10 at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. At the time, Hawaii was still a Monarchy, and King David Kalakaua went on a world tour in 1881, the first reigning monarch to circumnavigate the globe.
