Hawaii senators propose alert system for missing adults with developmental disabilities

HONOLULU (Island News) – Senate Bill 2486 is proposing a system that would be similar to an amber alert but for adults or elderly people with cognitive impairments. The system would be known as a silver alert. If an individual with these disabilities go missing, a silver alert will be sent to the public, first responders, and law enforcement.
