HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The state Department of Health on Wednesday confirmed five cases of pertussis, also known as whooping cough, including a child who was hospitalized. Health officials said the five were members of a single household and were not vaccinated. They had all traveled from the mainland and stayed at a hotel on Oahu.
