The Omidyar Network has announced the inaugural cohort of its Cultivating Repair Catalyst Initiative (Catalyst Initiative). Selected from more than 700 submissions across 48 states and three territories, 10 organizations will take part in a participatory learning cohort over the next year, accompanied in part by philanthropic partners exploring ways to better resource the growing repair and healing ecosystem. A project of Amalgamated Foundation, the Catalyst Initiative is the first step in the Omidyar Network Cultivating Repair strategy, a four-year, $12 million commitment launched last year that places repair and healing at the heart of an effort to build cultures of belonging.
