HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands now has more time get Native Hawaiian families off the long waitlist for a homestead lot. Gov. Josh Green signed Senate Bill 3109 into law Friday which gives DHHL another two years to use $600 million in funding from the Legislature.
