UH Manoa’s Hawaiian studies department will host a Hawaiian History Month panel

HONOLULU (Island News) — A Hawaiian History Month panel about imperialism in Oceania is taking place on Friday at the King Kamehameha V Judiciary History Center. This panel titled “Teaching 1898: America’s Imperial Legacy in Oceania” will explore the United States’ imperial actions. It will be on Sept. 6, 2024 from 6 to 8 p.m.
