Pocatello, ID – A widespread Flood Watch begins Saturday across eastern, southeastern and portions of central Idaho as a prolonged period of rainfall threatens to produce localized totals approaching 3 inches, raising concerns about flooded roads, rising creeks and low-lying communities through Monday afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service in Pocatello, the Flood Watch takes effect at noon MDT Saturday, Oct. 10, and continues until 6 p.m. MDT Monday, Oct. 12.
The watch includes Idaho Falls, Pocatello, Rexburg, Blackfoot, Burley, Rupert, American Falls, Preston, Soda Springs, Driggs, Victor, Island Park and surrounding communities…
