New Idaho bill may limit remote work, requiring most state employees to return to office

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) – Idaho Capital Sun reports most Idaho state employees could be required to return to the office under a new bill moving through the Statehouse. In the Senate State Affairs Committee meeting on Wednesday, Sen. Jim Guthrie, R-McCammon, presented Senate Bill 1261, a bill requiring state agencies, departments and offices to allow a maximum of 15% of its staff to work remotely on any given day.
