Fish and Game Commission opposes muzzleloader bill

The Idaho Fish and Game Commission opted to not support a bill that would liberalize the equipment that can be used in muzzleloader-only hunts.

House Bill 469 would forbid the department from regulating the use of sabots, 209 primers and pelletized powder in muzzleloader seasons. All three, especially in combination, can make the primitive weapons more efficient and effective, and make them accurate at distances up to about 200 yards or more.
