On February 2, the New York Times published a 4,500-word article by opinion columnist Pamela Paul titled “As Kids, They Thought They Were Trans. They No Longer Do.” By February 6, that article had already made it into a legal filing in support of a state’s ban on gender-affirming care for trans youth.
