An Idaho Olympian celebrated for winning gold, will soon be immortalized in bronze. You might remember Kaitlyn Farrington from the 2014 Olympics in Sochi. The Bellevue, Idaho native trained on Bald Mountain in Sun Valley, and won a gold medal in the Women’s Snowboard Halfpipe event. She brought the gold back to Idaho by beating three previous Olympic champions in the event.
