Idaho’s State Government wants people to be prepared for emergencies

BOISE, Idaho – September is National Preparedness Month, and the Gem State is getting ready to celebrate by promoting planning for emergencies that could befall families. The Idaho Office of Emergency Management announced programming in observance of the month on Friday, which will include the promotion of emergency kits in cars and homes in addition to families creating emergency plans for fires and floods.
