Election 2024: Idaho polls open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time for in-person voting

Polls will be open across Idaho from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time today for in-person voting in the 2024 general election.

Idahoans can visit the Idaho Secretary of State’s Offices website voteIdaho.gov to find the location of their polling place, look up their sample ballot, verify they are registered to vote and find out which congressional and legislative districts they live in.
Idaho offers same-day voter registration at the polls on Election Day. To register to vote at the polls, voters will need a current photo ID and proof of residence.

For voters who still have not returned their absentee ballot, absentee ballots must be received by the local county elections office by time polls close at 8 p.m. local time. It is too late to mail in absentee ballots and have them arrive in time, the Idaho Secretary of State’s Office said.
