Western Idaho Forecast: Snow Levels to Drop; Winds to Gust up to 30 MPH

A light wave of precipitation is moving eastward across western Idaho, with rain expected in lower elevations and snow in the mountains.

Snow levels are dropping quickly and could reach as low as 4,000 to 5,000 feet by early Tuesday, bringing snow to mountain valleys like McCall.

While rain totals will generally remain under 0.10 inches, higher elevations could see up to 0.25 inches of snow.

Wind gusts up to 30 mph are also possible. Most of the precipitation should taper off by late morning, though some mountain areas may continue to see light showers.
