ILLINOIS (25News Now) – Ameren is offering $10 million in additional funding for programs across Illinois and Missouri to help customers struggling to pay their energy bills as colder weather approaches.
The company is putting $5 million of that $10 million toward assistance programs across Illinois.
How the programs work
Eligible households can receive up to $500 through the Warm Neighbors Cool Friends program, which matches previous bill payments.
