Kankakee is experiencing a construction boom with the introduction of 11 major projects as part of the Rebuild Illinois capital program. Announced today by the Illinois Department of Transportation, these projects aim to enhance safety, mobility, and job creation in the region. The investments, exceeding $226 million, are made possible by the historic, bipartisan initiative championed by Gov.
