Communities across Central Illinois celebrating National Night Out

CENTRAL ILLINOIS (WCIA) — Since 1984, National Night Out has been celebrated in communities across the country on the second Tuesday of August. The event aims to strengthen the relationship between neighborhoods and first responders.

From cookouts to carnivals, and from touch-a-trucks to seminars, National Night Out always guarantees a memorable night of entertainment and safety education. In fact, communities all over Central Illinois are joining in the fun in their own unique ways.
