The Illinois State Fair hit a new attendance peak this year, with over 773,000 individuals flocking to the event over its 11-day span, as announced by Governor JB Pritzker. “Each year, the hardworking team at the Illinois Department of Agriculture manages to improve the Illinois State Fair with innovative new offerings, bigger and more diverse entertainment options, and an unwavering commitment to spotlighting Illinois agriculture,” Pritzker said, according to a release from the State of Illinois. The fair showcased a wide range of attractions, including sold-out performances from the likes of the Jonas Brothers, Keith Urban, and Miranda Lambert, with Lil Wayne shattering previous Grandstand records by selling more than 15,000 tickets.
