There are multiple tips voters should know before they cast their ballots:
- Visit the Illinois State Board of Elections and local election boards for information.
- Do not rely on chatbots or search engine AI to answer questions about election voting.
- Be skeptical of images, audio, video and articles online that elicit a strong emotional response.
- Register to vote through trusted sources like the State Board of Elections Online Voter Application
