If you thought you just felt an earthquake in Illinois, you’re correct. It was nothing world-changing, but it did happen in an unexpected place. I was just checking in on the USGS earthquake shake page and noticed a dot where I almost never see a dot. It was a quake confirmed by a seismologist located just to the northeast of Keyesport, Illinois that just happened at 9:50pm Wednesday night.
