ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A series of three reports were conducted to get to the bottom of why enrollment of minority students is lower in computer science degrees. According to one report by the Illinois Workforce and Education Research Collaborative (IWERC), enrollment and completion in tech and computer science programs at four-year schools has doubled in the past ten years. However, at two-year schools, the enrollment has decreased.
