Many hope to start a new year with goals and resolutions. Unfortunately, for hundreds in Illinois the start of the new year in 2025 will mean they will be without jobs. I saw the Des Moines Register share earlier today that another round of layoffs are impacting Illinois – again. There are job losses now and also into the new year as 287 were laid off by John Deere in the Quad Cities.
