Connie’s frozen pizzas recalled due to contamination concerns

MILWAUKEE — Connie’s Thin Crust Cheese frozen pizzas have been recalled due to a possible plastic foreign contaminant.

According to a release, Palermo Villa, Inc. issued the recall of 1,728 frozen pizzas on Friday.

The product was distributed in Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. The affected product expired as of Nov. 27. The pizzas are no longer available for purchase.

This recall alert is being conducted under the full cooperation of the FDA and has been issued out of an abundance of caution in the event that the product remains in a consumer’s freezer.

Consumers who have purchased the frozen pizzas are urged not to eat them. They should be thrown away or returned for a refund.
