Counties have travel watches, warnings for Tuesday’s wintry mix

INDIANAPOLIS – Concerns about freezing rain and slick surfaces prompted several counties to change their travel status on Tuesday. Boone, Hamilton, Hancock and Hendricks were among those calling for a yellow travel advisory, according to the status map from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security (IDHS). The map also showed some orange travel watches in Carroll, Owen and White counties, among others:
