HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Coming soon in Indiana, helmets might not be required for someone under the age of 18 to ride or operate an off-road vehicle if there are proper restraints.
In 2017, a law passed in the Hoosier State that requires all people under 18 to wear a helmet. An amendment to that law that recently passed through committee says that if the vehicle has a restraint system designed to protect the child’s head, then a helmet is not required.
