Dry, mild stretch underway; great for the weekend

We’re starting off Friday morning with patchy fog in the area, but no widespread issues are impacting central Indiana. The thickest of the fog is out in far western Indiana where visibility in Terre Haute has fallen to ~1 mile. Cloud cover has moved back into the state after a brighter and very mild start to February yesterday. We hit a high temperature of 53° in Indianapolis on Thursday. A front has passed through the area and we now have a cooler airflow taking hold. Skies will turn partly sunny today with high temperatures only rising to the mid 40s. That’s still well-above the average of 37° for today’s date.
