Indiana Enforces Burn Ban in Over Half of Counties Due to Dry Conditions

Indianapolis, IN – Over half of Indiana’s counties are currently under burn bans due to increased wildfire risks caused by dry weather conditions. The Indiana Department of Homeland Security reported 54 of the state’s 92 counties now have bans in effect. The number of counties affected is expected to grow as weather conditions remain dry.
