Thunderstorms this past Tuesday evening did produced some tornadoes in the Great Lakes region. One of those tornadoes was confirmed in far southern Lower Michigan. The National Weather Service out of northern Indiana is actually the National Weather Service office that covers some of the southern Michigan border counties. They issued tornado warnings Tuesday evening on small thunderstorms that showed enough rotation to produce tornadoes.
