Cell use while driving could become illegal in Iowa

It may soon become illegal to use a cellphone while you’re driving in Iowa. Senate Study Bill 3016, making its way through the Iowa State Legislature, would make it illegal to use a cellphone while driving. The bill has already passed a subcommittee. Texting behind the wheel is already illegal in Iowa, but Senate Study Bill 3016 would also require drivers to keep phones down at all times while driving.
