KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – High pressure continues to shift to the east while an upper-level low-pressure system begins to converge with several other lows to the northwest of the Central Plains. This creates a stronger southerly component with our wind, allowing temperatures to increase to the upper 50s and lower 60s this afternoon. In the meantime, it’s bringing to provide enough moisture content for patchy, dense fog to build, mainly from the west. Dense fog advisories have not popped up quite yet, if they do, we will let you know when we know.
