WATERLOO, Iowa (KCRG) – State lawmakers in eastern Iowa are voicing concerns about a recent decision from the Iowa Utilities Board (IUB). Tuesday, the IUB approved an application from Summit Carbon Solutions to construct a “hazardous liquid pipeline” through 29 Iowa counties. Part of the IUB order gave Summit Carbon Solutions the right of eminent domain for hundreds of parcels of land in Iowa.
