Gov. Reynolds Appoints District Associate Judge in Judicial District 3B

Governor Kim Reynolds announced on Friday the appointment of a district associate judge in Judicial District 3B. Melinda Wicks of Sergeant Bluff fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Hon. Todd A. Hensley. Wicks serves as a magistrate in Woodbury County and deputy county attorney in the Dakota County Attorney’s Office for the State of Nebraska. Wicks received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska and her law degree from Washburn University of Law. Judicial District 3B covers nine counties, including Crawford and Ida counties.
