Wet weekend ahead for much of Iowa with a cooldown coming

Very spotty storms formed Thursday afternoon and night across Central Iowa as a cold front moved through the state. The rainfall was pretty hit or miss in nature, but more widespread rain will be on the way for the weekend. This rain will also bring the arrival of the Fall season.
