DES MOINES, Iowa – 186 scientists across 32 universities in Iowa have signed off on their 14th annual climate statement. In 2023, the planet recorded its highest global surface temperature since data has been collected. According to the new report, the record-high temperatures have led to 28 separate billion dollar disasters across the United States.
