North Iowa energy projects get $350,000 in federal runding

WASHINGTON DC – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is giving $2,214,291 to five projects aimed at expanding clean energy systems in Iowa. USDA says the projects will also help create new market opportunities and jobs for U.S. farmers, ranchers and agricultural producers. The grants come from the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP).
